The former investment director of the German financial services company's CVC joined the parent in 2013.

Jὃrg Richtseld (pictured) has left the corporate venture arm of German financial services company Allianz Group.

Richtsfeld was the unit’s investment director, a role he had held since 2018. Before then he headed Allianz Ventures, the group’s previous venture arm, between 2015 and 2018.

It is not clear where Richtsfeld is moving to.   

Allianz X focuses on insurtech and fintech scale-ups. In 2017, it discontinued its early-stage company building activities to focus on strategic digital investments.

The venture unit is headed by Nazim Cetin, CEO.
