Recyclable packaging manufacturer Huhtamaki has committed an undisclosed amount to Switzerland-based VC firm Emerald Technology Ventures’ sustainable packaging fund as a limited partner.
Business closure
Propzy, the Vietnam-based online real estate portal backed by telecommunications and internet group SoftBank, online marketplace GS Shop and property developer RSquare, is winding down operations, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday citing an internal email. It had reportedly raised a total of $37m as of its $25m series A round in mid-2020.
M&A
Digital payments service Bolt has cancelled its planned $1.5bn acquisition of US-based crypto payment platform Wyre, which would have allowed corporate investors Kraken, OK Group, China 9fBank and Baofoo to exit.
Zaslat.cz, the Czech Republic-based online shipping platform backed by mobile services group GloCell, has been acquired by logistics firm Alsendo (formerly Apaczka) for an undisclosed amount.
