Insurance group AIA has provided an undisclosed amount for the series F round being raised by Gojek, the Indonesia-based ride hailing service previously known as Go-Jek, Reuters reported on Wednesday. Gojek had raised $1.1bn from investors including corporates Astra International, Tencent, JD.com, Google and Mitsubishi for the round as of March this year before adding undisclosed sums from Mitsubushi, financial services firm Siam Commercial Bank and payment services provider Visa.
