Burda Principal Investments, the corporate venture capital arm of German media firm Hubert Burda Media, has appointed Briac Bombrun (pictured left) and Lena Nedebock (pictured right) as investment analysts.
Formed in 2016, Burda Principal Investments invests in digital and media technology companies. The unit has some 30 active portfolio companies including anime licensing studio Kasagi Labo and Neotaste, which helps users find restaurants nearby.
Based in London, Bombrun joined Burda Principal Investments in April 2024 after stints at VC firm Eurazeo and consultancy Boston Consulting Group.
Nedebock was hired last month in Berlin after her trainee roles at companies including Schenker Ventures and DB Management Consulting, the investment and consulting arms of rail operator DB Schenker.
Christian Teichmann, managing director and chief executive of Burda Principal Investments, leads the team of 25 in Munich, Berlin, London and Singapore. Earlier this year, John Greger was promoted to portfolio partner.
