Bokecc beckons investors to series C

The cloud video hosting platform has raised $31.4m, six years after closing a Steamboat Ventures-led series B round.

Bokecc, a China-based cloud video software developer backed by Steamboat Ventures, a VC fund affiliated with entertainment group Walt Disney, has raised RMB208m ($31.4m) in series C funding, Asian Venture Capital Journal has reported.

NewQuest Capital Partners, a direct secondaries private equity platform, provided the funding together with private equity firm Jiawo Capital and Silk Road Huachuang Investment.
