Boeing HorizonX Ventures has led a series A round for the satellite terminal developer, which plans to work with the corporate's other portfolio companies in developing its technology.
UK-based satellite antenna technology developer Isotropic Systems has raised $14m in a series A round led by aerospace manufacturer Boeing’s corporate venturing unit, HorizonX Ventures.
Angel investment group Space Angels also participated in the round, as did Waterlow Management and Space Capital. The company had previously received $1m in a 2016 round and $5m a year later, with Waterlow leading both rounds.
Founded in 2013, Isotropic is designing and developing terminals that enable satellites to communicate with each other.
