Asapp, a US-based developer of an artificial intelligence-equipped customer support platform, obtained $120m in a series C round yesterday backed by Telstra Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of telecommunications firm Telstra.
Fidelity Management & Research, Dragoneer, March Capital, Emergence Capital, Euclidean Capital, Hof Capital, 40 North Ventures and private investor John Doerr also participated in the round, which valued Asapp at $1.6bn.
