Volkswagen invites six teams to its incubator

The carmaker's Transparent Factory has chosen CarlundCarla, Smart City System, Geospin, Ekoio, Tretbox and LoyalGo for its first lineup.

Germany-based automotive manufacturer Volkswagen has admitted the first six Germany-based mobility technology teams to its Transparent Factory incubator.

The participants include corporate car-sharing platform CarlundCarla, parking space navigation startup Smart City System and Geospin, a big geographical data analysis technology spinout of University of Freiburg.

Intelligent driving system developer Ekoio, environmentally friendly last-mile delivery service Tretbox and LoyalGo, a provider of electric vehicle-charging stations that feature advertising, made up the selection.
