Process management technology developer Iconpro was founded out of RWTH Aachen last year and is targeting its services at the manufacturing sector.
Germany-based data analytics software developer Iconpro has spun out from RWTH Aachen University to commercialise process management technologies for manufacturing purposes, according to Mav.
Founded in 2018, Iconpro develops data analytics software powered by machine learning algorithms that facilitate process management in manufacturing and assembly plants.
The spinout’s software includes a tool for the evaluation of production routines through an analysis of event logs, a quality control method known as process mining.
Users can access the information through an automated visual central dashboard, and Iconpro also provides consultancy services related to process management.
Iconpro’s scientific advisers are Robert Schmitt, a professor in RWTH Aachen’s machine tools and production engineering lab, and Martin Peterek, the managing chief engineer of Schmitt’s lab.
Markus Ohlenforst, managing director of Iconpro, said: “Our goal is to help our industrial customers focus on the essentials: to develop and sell their products. We look forward to accompanying numerous companies on this journey in the future.”
