Bonnier Ventures co-led a $17.8m round for the Chalmers Ventures-backed employee engagement platform developer that will support international growth.

Winningtemp, a Sweden-based developer of employee engagement software, has raised SEK157m ($17.8m) in a series B round co-led by Bonnier Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of media group Bonnier.
Venture capital firm Frog Capital co-led the round, which came after the company received $3.7m in a January 2019 round led by Norrsken Foundation and backed by Chalmers Ventures, the venture arm of Chalmers Institute of Technology, and Almi Invest.
Founded in 2014, Winningtemp has built a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyse employee behaviour and make recommendations to enhance well-being within an organisation. It plans to use the money for expansion in the United States.
Chalmers Ventures had previously invested approximately $175,000 in the company in 2016 to double its overall funding to $350,000.
