University of Oklahoma has secured government funding for a six-month incubator programme expected to strengthen its commercialisation pipeline.
University of Oklahoma has established a six-month incubator for university-aligned startups with the help of US government-run funding agency Economic Development Administration, News Break reported yesterday.
OU Startup Incubator will operate from the university’s Tom Love Innovation Hub with additional support from its office for the vice-president of research and partnerships as well as affiliates such as regional business promotion board Norman Economic Development Coalition.
The programme is expected to strengthen OU’s venture management capacity with the intent of enhancing tech commercialisation and the growth potential of its startups.
