Stanford-StartX Fund-backed Onfleet has now raised $20m to date after securing series A funding to grow its last-mile delivery business.

Onfleet, a US-based last-mile logistics software developer backed by Stanford-StartX Fund, has secured $14m in a series A round led by growth equity firm Kennet Partners.
Founded in 2015, Onfleet provides geopositioning-enabled software used by more than 1,000 enterprises to manage the last-mile delivery of goods supplied through their existing logistics network.
Onfleet will put the funding into a recruitment drive as it seeks to broaden its product offering and expand into overseas markets. Javier Rovas, managing director at Kennet Partners, has joined the board of directors.
Onfleet said it has now raised $20m in funding to date, although full details could not be ascertained.
Stanford-StartX Fund, the VC vehicle aligned to Stanford University through the StartX accelerator, backed a $2m round for Onfleet in 2015 alongside Tuesday Capital (then known as CrunchFund), Winklevoss Capital and assorted angel investors.
Dunnhumby Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of customer science product supplier Dunnhumby, has also backed Onfleet previously, as has Dorm Room Fund, a vehicle focused on graduate-founded startups, SGH Capital, Viralety Ventures and Playfair Capital.
