Endless Frontier Labs will operate as a nine-month accelerator initiative set up in place of the defunct CDL-NYC partnership with University of Toronto.

New York University’s Stern School of Business is seeking seed-stage businesses for the 2019-2020 edition of its Endless Frontier Labs (EFL) accelerator, a new science and tech-focused program geared towards the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The nine-month initiative will see each EFL portfolio company assigned a mentor to work towards predetermined goals, with the aim of driving development until each startup can secure money from investors linked to the program.
Billed as a “founders’ first” initiative, EFL is intended as a replacement for Creative Destruction Lab-New York City, the accelerator run by NYU Stern and University of Toronto which ended under mutual agreement by both parties.
NYU will not collect equity or fees from EFL participants, and the program will be open to companies without connections to the university or the New York City region. The deadline for entrants hoping to join the 2019-2020 program cycle will close on August 23.
Raghu Sundaram, dean of NYU Stern School of Business, said: “We are creating the premier ecosystem of entrepreneurship education and programs here on the east coast, in the heart of New York City, that fuels the demand for highly inspired ideas with equally high potential for impact. I am excited by the strides Endless Frontier Labs is making in taking us closer to this vision.”
