MSU’s Student Venture Capital Fund will invest up to $50,000 in university-linked businesses with the administrative aid of MSU students taking the entrepreneurial finance course.

Michigan State University (MSU) has launched a venture capital fund of undisclosed size as a partnership between its investment subsidiary Red Cedar Ventures and entrepreneurship division Center for Venture Capital, Private Equity and Entrepreneurial Finance (CVCPEEF).
The Student Venture Capital Fund will be directly funded by Red Cedar Ventures to back startups from MSU’s ecosystem with cheques of up to $50,000.
