Chalmers Ventures head of startups Stina Linge will leave on September 2 to head up Lipidor's animal health products unit Emollivet.
Stina Linge is set to vacate Chalmers Ventures, the investment and incubator arm of Chalmers University of Technology, after almost five years.
Linge will depart on September 2, 2020 to become chief executive of Emollivet, an animal health-focused subsidiary of skincare and dermatology product firm Lipidor.
Her arrival coincides with plans to extend Emollivet’s animal care pipeline, Akvano, and a new share issue to be presented at Lipidor’s extraordinary general meeting.
Linge has been with Chalmers Ventures since 2015, latterly coaching about 60 startups each year as head of the unit’s five incubation programs. She was responsible for Chalmers’s pre-accelerator program, Encubation, from 2015 until 2018.
Linge gained startup experience herself in 2013 when she co-founded Top of Life, a marketplace connecting older people to fun activities. She was previously a customer service specialist at DB Schenker, the logistics arm of railway firm Deutsche Bahn, in 2011 and 2012.
Fredrik Sjövall, chairman of both Lipidor and Emollivet, said: “We are very pleased to have recruited Stina to Emollivet.
“Stina has solid experience of building and developing companies in the startup phase from her time at Chalmers Ventures and will also contribute lots of energy to the continued commercialisation of Akvano-based animal care products.”
