IU Ventures has returned for a series B round for Encamp, having previously taken part in a series A round year.
Encamp, a US-based environmental, health and safety (EHS) software developer, has secured $12m in a series B round backed by IU Ventures, the fund management arm of Indiana University.
OpenView led the round, which also attracted High Alpha Capital and Allos Ventures.
Founded in 2017, Encamp has built a cloud-based EHS compliance platform. It will use the series B capital to support continued development of its platform and to hire additional staff.
Encamp raised $3.1m in series A financing in May 2020 co-led by Allos Ventures, with commitments from IU Ventures and High Alpha. IU Ventures had provided $250,000 in January 2019, before High Alpha, ALlos and Ade Olonoh supplied $750,000 six months later.
