Prolupin, the Germany-based dairy alternatives spinout of Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging, has secured an extension of undisclosed size from the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund, a vehicle backed by the EU-owned European Investment Bank. The money follows an initial $15.3m tranche in March 2020 co-led by Novax, an investment vehicle for conglomerate Axel Johnson.
