Meredith Schwarz has left General Mills, where she launched its corporate venturing fund, to join consumer goods-focused private equity firm Encore Consumer Capital.

Meredith Schwarz has left General Mills Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of consumer food producer General Mills, to take a vice president role at private equity firm Encore Consumer Capital.

Schwarz served at General Mills Ventures for 11 years, launching General Mills Ventures in the process, after spending five years at financial services holding company JPMorgan Chase as an associate.
