Advance Publications' corporate venturing unit has led the children's education software and marketplace provider's latest round.

Advance Venture Partners, the strategic investment arm of media company Advance Publications, led a $6m round for US-base personalised children’s learning marketplace and software tool developer Sawyer yesterday.

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, 3311 Ventures, Collaborative Fund and Female Founders Fund also participated in the round, together with unnamed investors from the startup’s seed round.
