Push notification technology provider OneSignal has raised $7m in series A funding from participants including existing investor Rakuten Ventures.

US-based push notification technology provider OneSignal secured $7m on Tuesday in a series A round that included Rakuten Ventures, the corporate venturing vehicle for e-commerce firm Rakuten.

Venture capital firm SignalFire led the round, which included angel investors Zach Coelius, Auren Hoffman, Gil Elbaz and Devin Guan. It took OneSignal’s overall funding to $9.3m, the company said.
