Qualcomm Ventures reportedly backs South Korea-based telecom software developer IntelRa and China-based web browser MoboTap.

The corporate venturing unit of US-based semiconductor company Qualcomm has reportedly backed South Korea-based telecom software developer IntelRa and the series B round of financing of China-based MoboTap, which makes the Dolphin web browser.

Qualcomm Ventures will invest around $1.8m in IntelRa, according to news provider Asia Private Equity Review. IntelRa was founded in 2009 and provides digital modules and digital RF systems for existing and next generation wired/wireless infrastructure networks for highly optimised, energy-effective and cost competitive systems.
