Cable and telecommunications service provider Comcast has led a $32.6m funding round for US-based adaptive wifi technology developer Plume Design that is expected to close at $37.5m.
Plume has created a cloud-powered, self-optimising wifi network system that uses pods installed in each room of a user’s home that adapt constantly in real time to ensure wifi remains steady and high-speed.
