Big database creator Couchbase has raised $60m in a series E round that lifted its overall funding to $115m.
Couchbase, the US-based developer of what it claims is the world’s best performing NoSQL database, raised a $60m series E round yesterday.
The round was led by WestSummit and Accel Growth Fund, and also included Docomo Capital, the corporate venturing unit for telecommunications company NTT Docomo, as well as Accel Partners, which invests from a fund separate from Accel Growth Fund, Adams Street Partners, Ignition Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners, according to the Wall Street Journal.
