Carrie Hurwitz Williams has been promoted from principal while Jennifer Carter will add the role to her vice-president of portfolio development, marketing and venture operations position.
McKesson Ventures, the strategic investment arm of pharmaceuticals distributor McKesson, has promoted Jennifer Carter and Carrie Hurwitz Williams to partner positions in the unit.
Formed in 2014, McKesson Ventures has since built a portfolio including Grail, the liquid biopsy developer that could reportedly be bought by Illumina for $8bn, and Amwell, the telehealth platform developer that priced a $742m initial public offering yesterday.
