The Malaysia-based financial institution has partnered with accelerator 1337 Ventures to select 20 startups for a Southeast Asian bootcamp.

Malaysia-based financial institution Maybank and technology accelerator 1337 Ventures have partnered for a financial technology bootcamp that will support 20 startups, Tech in Asia reported earlier today.

The two partners will organise roadshows in Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, though startups can also apply online with a one-minute pitch video. The selected startups will not receive any funding, but will undergo a three-day programme to validate their business ideas in Kuala Lumpur in June 2015.
