Alfred Lo has left corporate joint venture fund Optus Innov8 to head AMP New Ventures, the unit formed by financial services provider AMP in March.

Alfred Lo has joined AMP New Ventures, the corporate venturing unit subsidiary up by Australia-based financial services firm AMP earlier this year, and will head the unit.

Lo previously served as principal of Optus-Innov8, the Australian seed fund established by Australia-based telecommunications company Optus and Singtel Innov8, the investment arm of Singapore-based telecoms firm SingTel. He joined the fund in 2012.
