Integrated circuit producer Dice has been bought by one of its investors, locally-based corporate Infineon Technologies Austria.

Chipmaker Infineon Technologies Austria has acquired portfolio company Danube Integrated Circuit Engineering (Dice), an Austria-based supplier of integrated circuits for radar-powered sensors.

Infineon Technologies Austria, a subdivision of Germany-headquartered semiconductor provider Infineon Technologies focused on mobility, energy efficiency and security, operates out of the city of Linz, home to Dice and Johannes Kepler University (JKU), where Dice’s technology was developed.
