The goal of the Healthcare Council is to empower CVCs to be a dominant force in the healthcare financing and strategic landscape by:
- Convening industry thought leaders
- Enhancing networking opportunities that could optimize deal flow and syndication
- Capturing and sharing healthcare CVC standards and best practices
- Framing opportunities to drive community discussion, research and collaboration
Annual programming plans and activities to date include:
- 2-3 in-person roundtables at GCV flagship events in the US and Europe (GCVI Summit and GCV Symposium)
- CVC meetups at key healthcare sector events (e.g. HLTH)
- Cross-council collaborations (e.g. AI in healthcare session at NVIDIA)
- Live online investment sector and GCV Keystone-informed healthcare CVC best practices sessions (topical planning to be informed by council members)
