The Agri-Food Council was established to secure a platform whereby CVCs in this sector could come together to connect, explore innovation and investment opportunities, as well as dive deeper into the issues currently affecting agri-food investors and their portfolio companies.
Activity in 2025 has centered around cross council collaboration with the Consumer Council with the formation of an FMCG working group focused on the following outcomes:
- Convening industry thought leaders
- Enhancing networking opportunities that could optimise deal flow and syndication
- Capturing and sharing CVC standards and best practice
- Framing opportunities to drive consumer discussion, research and collaboration
Programming in 2025 has been a combination of digital touchpoints and in person meet ups both at GCV flagship events and more broadly.
