Automatic journal-keeping app Heyday, backed by Google Ventures as part of a $2m seed funding round in 2012, officially launches.

Heyday, a US-based startup which publishers a free, automatic journal-keeping app for iPhones and iPods, has officially launched. According to a report on peHUB, the startup raised $2m in seed funding back in July 2012, from investors including Google Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of internet firm Google, CrunchFund, the early-stage venture capital firm of internet media company AOL, venture capital firm Spark Capital, TriplePoint Capital and SV Angel, and several angel investors.
