Juniper Networks is set to acquire networking software company BTI Systems, which had raised $60m in equity from backers including Fujitsu, for an undisclosed sum.

Wireless networking technology manufacturer Fujitsu Network Communications is set to exit Canada-based networking systems and software provider BTI Systems in an acquisition by networking technology producer Juniper Networks.

BTI supplies network infrastructure technology to carriers, service providers, content providers, colocation providers and cloud infrastructure companies, and has more than 380 customers across 40 countries.
