GF Securities has added $7.6m to the $3m in series A funding that photo editing platform Fotor raised from Lenovo five years ago.
Fotor, a China-based photo editing app developer backed by consumer electronics manufacturer Lenovo, has received $7.6m in series B funding from investment bank GF Securities, it announced.
Founded in 2009, Fotor has created an app that facilitates professional-level photographic editing and graphic design without requiring a steep learning curve.
The company claims it has upwards of 250 million users across more than 180 countries, and recently converted the app from a Flash-based platform to HTML5.
