Estimote, which produces sensors and interactive beacons for indoor locations, had raised $3.1m in its 2013 seed round.
Estimote, a US-based startup working on wireless sensors and software provide for indoor location tracking, disclosed a $10.7m round on Monday that included internet company Digital Garage.
Javelin Venture Partners led the round, which also featured Homebrew, Box Group, Commerce Ventures and angel investors including Josh McFarland, founder and chief executive of customer behaviour analysis company TellApart.
Estimote produces small beacons that can be attached to walls in order to interact with mobile devices. The funding will support expansion across offices in New York, San Francisco and Krakow.
The company previously raised $3.1m in a 2013 seed round featuring Innovation Endeavors, Betaworks, Bessemer Venture Partners, Birchmere Ventures and Valiant Capital Partners.
