Timur Davis, a senior investment manager at Samsung Ventures since 2015, has been appointed principal at Live Oak Bancshares' strategic investment arm.
Timur Davis has left Samsung Ventures, a corporate venturing subsidiary of consumer electronics maker Samsung, to become principal at Canapi, a financial technology-focused investment arm of banking group Live Oak Bancshares.
The role is a new position that became effective late last month. Davis will oversee work on investment and incubation strategies that further Canapi’s ambitions to innovate in the banking space.
