The big data analysis startup raised $6.3m in a round led by Intel Capital that also included Tengelmann Ventures.

Intel Capital, the corporate venturing arm of semiconductor maker Intel, has led a €5.5m ($6.3m) series A round for Germany-based data analysis technology developer Data Artisans.

Tengelmann Ventures, the investment subsidiary of retail chain Tengelmann, also contributed to the round, as did venture capital firm B-to-V Partners, which participated as an existing investor. The funding lifted Data Artisans’ total funding to $7.3m.
