Wu leaves Coinbase for Archetype

2021 was a record year for Coinbase Ventures, with just under 150 deals, averaging a new deal every 2.5 days.

Katherine Wu, senior manager at Coinbase Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of blockchain developer Coinbase, is joining early-stage venture capital firm Archetype as a venture partner, according to Bloomberg.

Wu previously worked at Notation Capital, a venture capital firm, and Messari, a crypto research and data platform, before joining Coinbase in September just after GCV Rising Stars award winner Steven Willinger took over.
