Text-based recruitment service Workstream plans to embark on a hiring spree following a series B round backed by Roc Nation.

Workstream, the US-based developer of a text message-based recruitment service, secured $48m yesterday in a series B round that included entertainment agency Roc Nation.

The round was co-led by venture capital firm Bond and investment manager Coatue, with additional investments from Founders Fund, Basis Set Ventures, CRV, Peterson Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures and GGV Capital in addition to Will Smith’s Dreamers VC fund.
