Meghan Sharp, formerly BP Ventures head, tells corporate venturers to engage and behave like asset managers.

Having led oil and gas producer BP’s corporate venturing unit before becoming global head of Decarbonization Partners, the $600m venture capital outfit set up by asset manager BlackRock and Singapore-based investment firm Temasek, Meghan Sharp has seen both the corporate and institutional sides of the VC coin. 

Her advice after working from both angles: engage and behave like an asset manager.
