Applied Materials-backed Enphase Energy is raising the money about two weeks after it filed for a $100m IPO.

Intel Capital has now made investments in 50 countries and said its deal with Altech would be used to provide broadband services in Africa.

NYSE-listed technology company LSI Corporation has joined the latest $21m round backing US ethernet connection company Aquantia.

The semiconductor parts maker has taken $22m in a funding round which included Russian state investment firm Rusnano.

US-based drugs company Cephalon has co-led the Y2bn ($24m) series E round for SymBio Pharmaceuticals, a Japan-based company treating blood disorders.

In a regulatory filing first seen by CityBizList, Solicore has Andrew Teichman, executive director of investments at OPG Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of Canada-based Ontario Power Generation, and Robert Daigle, chief technology officer of local industrial group Rogers, as its directors.

Elaine Jones, executive director of Pfizer Venture Investments, will be an observer to Neuronetics' board and said: "Pfizer has had a longstanding interest in treating depression."

BoSci invested $30m in 2004 with an option to acquire the company and the company had in total raised about $180m before this latest round, according to news provider In Vivo

Shai Weiss, partner at Virgin Green Fund, said the fund was the largest single shareholder in GreenRoad.

Alongside Docomo, which already used Skycross as a supplier, are Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of chip maker Intel, and venture capital firms TL Ventures, Investor Growth Capital and Gabriel Venture Partners.
