Johnson & Johnson-backed oncology company Aduro has closed a series D round that will be used to advance its pipeline of drug candidates.

The taxi hailing app has reportedly closed an Alibaba-backed round worth almost $800m as it seeks to compete with its Chinese competitor.

Internet company Yahoo has reportedly committed cash to the round, which could value the instant messaging app at up to $20bn.
