UK-based communications company WPP is joined backing the emotion measurement business by Horizons Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

The round backing the US-based nano-structured steel design company, was also invested in by EnerTech Capital, Fairhaven Capital Partners (including TD Capital) and five existing investors.

Intel led the round, which was joined by venture firms iSource and GIMV.

Technion Research & Development Foundation is joined in the series C round by venture firms Accel Partners, Vertex Venture Capital, ProSeed Venture Capital Fund and eXeed Technology.

Investment bank Piper Jaffray led the C round extension, and was joined by venture capital firms Tur Partners and Industry Ventures.
