The online gaming company has attracted backing from investors with a wide range of media experience for its series B round.

The Russian venture firm is one of three big backers of the home renting company's latest round, which has rung up a reported $1.3bn valuation.

The communications group has led the latest funding round by the emotional measurement company, which looks detect how people react emotionally using computers.

The medical diagnostics company has secured a second round of funding, totalling $13m, and Dow Chemical is among the backers.

Alongside Alibaba in the round were venture capital firms Northern Light Venture Capital and Sequoia Capital. Sequoia had reportedly invested $5m in December in Meituan.

The e-commerce shipping firm has raised a reported $6m of investment in the round, which will allow it to expand globally.

The latest funding takes Transcend Medical to more than $60m raised in its history, based on the reported size of its first funding round.

Tengelmann joins media group Bertelsmann backing the fast-growing e-commerce company.
