The GV-backed drone developer, which focuses on the delivery of drugs to remote places, has closed a $25m series B round.

Novo Seeds led a $17.1m round for the medical device developer, which had been backed by Medtronic at series A stage.

The series B capital was provided by undisclosed backers, and follows a $10m series A investment by Baidu in 2014.

Relayr has secured $23m in a round led by reinsurer Munich Re as part of a strategic partnership, taking the internet-of-things technology developer's total funding to more than $36m.

Legend Star, which also took part in the education mobile app producer's angel and series A rounds, has returned to contribute to its $15m series B.

The round was led by Shenzhen Topband and followed a $12.6m series A+ round last year that included Legend Holdings and Mediatek.
