CVC veteran Eric Steager has left Touchdown Ventures and joined Purdue University subsidiary Purdue Ventures as managing director.
Eric Steager has departed from his venture partner role at Touchdown Ventures, a US-based venture capital firm that manages various corporate venturing funds.
He has taken up a managing director position at Purdue Ventures, the investment arm of Purdue University that typically invests in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Steager joined Touchdown Ventures in April 2022, where he helped advise corporates to establish corporate venturing units across several industries, particularly in healthcare.
Prior to this, Steager served three years as staff vice president of corporate venture capital at Anthem and seven years as director of corporate development innovation and managing director of strategic innovation portfolio at another health insurance organisation Independence Blue Cross.
