GCV Rising Star and former principal at Gree Ventures Albert Shyy has left his MD position at Burda Principal Investments for a similar role at investment group Eurazeo.
Managing director Albert Shyy has departed Burda Principal Investments, the corporate venturing arm of Germany-headquartered media group Hubert Burda, for the same job at France-listed investment firm Eurazeo.
Formed in 2001 as a merger between investment groups Azeo and Eurafrance, Eurazeo has in excess of €3.1bn ($3.35bn) under management having backed more than 180 companies. It targets early to series C-stage developers working on digital services, energy transition and healthcare technologies.
