Walker spent over 12 years in California-headquartered Silicon Valley Bank.

Charlie Walker has joined Prologis Ventures, the investment arm of US logistics real estate firm Prologis, as a vice president of investments.
Prologis Ventures invests in supply chain technologies, proptech, and energy and sustainability, supporting startups from seed through growth stages.
“In 2019 I moved to San Francisco to join Silicon Valley Bank’s pioneering ‘CVC Relationships’ team, with a firm belief that the increase in corporate venture capital investment wouldn’t just be a fad this cycle,” Walker said in a LinkedIn announcement.
“With the pace of innovation ever increasing and the barriers to entry/disruption decreasing, venture investing would inevitably become a legitimate component of corpdev and/or R&D.”
Walker spent more than 12 years at Silicon Valley Bank, a lender to startups, where he most recently served as a managing director of VC investor coverage and business development.
