Data platform Looker has now raised $48m in less than two years and added SAP-affiliated venture firm Sapphire Ventures to its investors.

Looker, the US-based developer of a web-based business intelligence platform, secured $30m in series B financing today from investors including Sapphire Ventures, the venture capital firm affiliated with software producer SAP.

Venture firm Meritech Capital Partners led the round, which also featured VC firms Redpoint Ventures, First Round Capital and PivotNorth, all three of which are existing investors.
