After a year building ventures, Mark Yde is joining Ajinomoto Group Ventures to invest in healthcare, food and greentech.

Mark Yde has joined Japanese food and biotech company Ajinomoto’s venture team after a year at venture building firm Half Solved.

“I’ll be supporting investments across therapeutics, food, greentech and other segments of Ajinomoto’s innovation frontier,” said Yde, who will be working out of the Ajinomoto Group Ventures’ office in Massachusetts, on LinkedIn.

Ajinomoto Group Ventures invests in healthcare, food and wellness, IT and green technologies.

Before his more recent role at Half Solved, Yde spent nearly a year at Cornell University’s tech transfer office – the Center for Technology Licensing – prior to which he did a two-year stint as an investment associate at Integrated.vc, focusing on biomedical and digital health investments.
