Wang has joined Nuvini, a company that buys software as a service companies in Latin America to help them grow internationally.

Phoebe Wang has left her job as investment partner on the corporate development team at Amazon to join Nuvini Group, an acquirer and operator of Latin American software companies.
Wang has been appointed as chief artificial intelligence officer at Nuvini, a newly created role that reflects the company’s aim to embed AI in its portfolio of software companies as a key part of its mergers and acquisitions strategy.
Wang will oversee the company’s AI investments and lead development and deployment of AI across its operations. She was a member of the company’s board of directors before taking on the new role.
Wang was at Amazon for more than four years, working in various venture investment roles, including at its Climate Pledge Fund, a $2bn corporate venture fund which invests in climate tech startups.
She was a GCV Emerging Leader in corporate venturing in 2024.
Wang is also an adviser to venture studio AI Fund and a lecturer on innovation at University of California, Berkeley, Haas Business School.
