Joseph Tenbusch has joined Michigan-based, specialty VC Microtech Ventures

Joseph Tenbusch has left the corporate venture capital team at Canadian auto parts supplier Magna International to join VC firm Microtech Ventures as managing director.

Tenbusch was investment manager in Magna’s CVC team for three-and-half years. The investments team is embedded in Magna’s corporate team rather than in a separate investment fund.

The Magna Technology Investments team invests in startups innovating in the vehicles, manufacturing, transportation and mobility sectors.

Microtech Ventures invests in early-stage startups making sensors and MEMS devices in the automotive, medical, robotics, drones and IoT industries. The firm also advises on mergers and acquisitions.
